The Roncemay golf course, much more than a golf course in the Yonne
Just like our entire estate and our 4-star hotel in the Yonne, we are moving the golf course towards an environmentally friendly management. Here too, it is nature that decides and that is put forward. Each season, the rules change and the golf course in Yonne evolves. Whether you are an amateur, a beginner or an experienced golfer, you will appreciate the bucolic and majestic setting of this 18-hole course and the infrastructures of the Domaine et Golf du Roncemay, near Auxerre, halfway between Paris and Dijon.
We have redesigned all our infrastructures to offer quality and conviviality with club house, caddy master, 3 practice holes, practice range and trackman, proshop, etc.
A journey permanently magnified
Created in 1989 by Jean Garaïalde, international golfer, and Jeremy Pern, designer of many international golf courses, its 6219 meters course, crosses a forest of hundred-year-old oaks, beeches and birches, and opens on a vast plateau shaped and colored in the manner of Scottish links.
Since then, the Roncemay golf course has continued to improve in order to guarantee golfers the best possible playing comfort as well as the quality of the course, which has been redesigned with the help of Julien Xanthopoulos, technical consultant and journalist on Canal Plus and Golf Plus. The latter, with the help of our greenkeeper and his team, has preserved the existing relief and vegetation of this magnificent site, between pond and forest. His signature is expressed through the jagged bunkers of an 18-hole golf course in Yonne and the famous hole n°5 and its pond, a mythical hole of the domain which combines performance and pleasure.

Playing golf on a daily basis is a unique experience. As members of the golf course, many services and privileges are reserved for you. You have access to other golf courses in the region as well as preferential rates at the Proshop, Clubhouse, restaurants, 4-star hotel and spa.

A complete training area to improve your skills
Ideal for all levels, beginners can learn to play golf and more experienced players can optimize their swing.
A very large covered driving range with 12 posts and 40 posts on grass, a putting green, a pitch and putt, a trackman complete the facilities. Another asset of the Domaine du Roncemay in Burgundy is a 3-hole practice area for all those who wish to learn the practice of golf.

A true place of life and meetings, the Club-House offers golf lovers warmth and conviviality, with golf TV channels in the background and a breathtaking view of the golf course and the estate's castle. With an entrance reserved for golfers, a bar with an exclusive terrace, a caddy master and locker rooms, the Clubhouse welcomes you in a cozy atmosphere with old photos that trace the history of golf.
A dynamic sports life
The Golf of Domaine du Roncemay offers its members a rich sporting life with numerous competitions, thanks to a dynamic sports association. Indeed, the calendar declines tournaments and competitions of varied classification throughout the year.
Some of the most emblematic events include the Pro-Am, Match-Play, Roncemay Wednesdays.... Club members can also participate in regional and national competitions.
Other competitions are also open to outside players or partner golf courses.
A Proshop to equip yourself
Always in this qualitative approach which animates us, visit our new pro-shop, a store of 65 square meters entirely dedicated to the universe of the golf which sells the top-of-the-range golf brands, products and accessories with logos.
Located at the entrance of the golf course, the Proshop offers a wide variety of golfwear, shoes and accessories. You can also rent golf equipment. Our Proshop offers the most famous brands through seasonal collections, such as Ralph Lauren, as well as a Domaine du Roncemay collection. You will be equipped from head to toe!
Private competitions for your employees
Offer your teams and clients memorable moments of challenge by giving them the opportunity to participate in private competitions through the privatization of the course.
For half a day or a full day, your clients and guests will live a unique experience on the golf course of the Domaine du Roncemay in the Yonne, often followed by a lunch or a dinner on the panoramic terrace of the restaurant or punctuated by a cocktail party at the club-house with a sumptuous ceremony. It is a whole panel of private events that we decline for the satisfaction of your customers.
